Enchondroma - femur

Presentation

Trauma with an abnormal x-ray.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male
ct

There is an ill-defined lucent intramedullary lesion of the distal femur with a central chondroid matrix. The cortex is preserved with no periosteal reaction or adjacent soft tissue mass. No femoral fracture is seen.

Case Discussion

CT features are suggestive of enchondroma of the distal femoral diaphysis (incidental finding).
