Encysted hydrocele of the spermatic cord

Left inguinal swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 2 months
Gender: Male

Both testes are normal in size outline and echotexture. Mild fluid seen surrounding the left testis. A cystic lesion is seen along the left spermatic cord without communication to peritoneum or peritesticular fluid which suggests encysted hydrocele.

Note small cyst in the head of right epididymis.
