Post craniotomy status. Densely calcified mass in right parieto-temporal lobe with surrounding edema.

Case Discussion

Histologically proven case of ependymoma.

Supratentorial ependymomas are usually intraparanchymal. They are believed to be due to trapping of embryonic rests of ependymal tissue in the developing cerebral paranchyma.
