MRI demonstrates an oval sharply circumscribed mass in the subcutaneous tissues overlying the lower sacrum (S4 - S5). It has intermediate to low T1 signal, high signal on T2 and demonstrates no contrast enhancement. There is no evidence of spinal dysraphism.
