A dorsally situated extradural mass extends from the level of the body of T11 to the level of the L1/2 intervertebral disc space with compression of the cord and conus.
The lesion demonstrates heterogeneous T1 and T2 signal with some intrinsic high T1 signal and moderate heterogeneous contrast enhancement. No bone destruction.
Case Discussion
The patient went on to have a resection that confirmed the diagnosis of epidural angiolipoma. She has been followed up for 10 years with no recurrence.
