MRI through the orbits and posterior fossa demonstrates masses involving the intraconal compartment of the orbits and the extraaxial compartment posterior to the cerebellum. These masses are isointense to brain on T1 weighted images, and of marked low signal on T2. Enhancement is present following contrast administration.

Features are consistent with Erdheim-Chester Disease, subsequently histologically proven.
