External auditory canal cholesteatoma

Presentation

Fullness in the left ear.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

A soft tissue density mass like lesion is seen in the medial portion of the left external acoustic meatus, having eroded the long process of the malleus and the adjacent bone. 

Ring artifact is evident.

The findings of CT suggest external auditory canal cholesteatoma.
