Sagittal slice shows the intervertebral disc extrusion connecting to the L3/L4 disc.

Case Discussion

MRI showed a left-sided extraforaminal disc extrusion indenting on the left spinal L3 nerve (axial images). On the sagittal image, the connection between the extrusion and the L3/L4 disc was depicted.
