Bilateral symmetrical anteromedial globus pallidus hyperintensity in both T2W and FLAIR sequences, surrounded by a thin hypointense rim, not restricted diffusion in DW/ADC giving eye of the tiger sign.
Also noted widening subarachnoid spaces in both frontal lobes.
Case Discussion
Bilateral symmetrical anteromedial globus pallidus hyperintensity encircled by hypointensity, giving eye of the tiger sign, suggestive of neurodegenerative disease.
