Routine examination post right mastectomy. Left reduction mammoplasty.

Gender: Female
Mammography

Current examination

Progressive contraction of parenchyma and concerning microcalcification.

Mammography

One year from current examination

Progressive contraction of parenchyma and concerning microcalcification

Mammography

Two years from current examination

Progressive contraction of parenchyma and concerning microcalcification.

Mammography

Three years from current examination

Central density with small calcifications. 

Mammography

Stereotactic vacuum-assisted biopsy and specimen radiograph. 

Case Discussion

Progressive contraction of parenchyma and concerning microcalcification - biopsy contains calcification and indicated fat necrosis occurring some years after surgical intervention.
