During the routine fetal echo scan at 24 weeks of gestation, jet of blood flow was seen across the tricuspid valve during ventricular systole. PSV was more than 123 cm/sec, holosystolic and extends less than 1/3rd of the distance to the opposite atrial wall. 4-chamber heart view was normal. Two echogenic foci also were seen in the left ventricle. No other cardiac or extracardiac abnormality detected.
Case Discussion
Isolated tricuspid regurgitation is common imaging finding during the fetal echo. Other cardiac and extracardiac abnormality must be ruled out.
