Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

Colon Tc after drinking mdc with CO2 insufflation

There are numerous gas bubbles of various sizes, floating in mdc and adherent along the walls of the colon in particular in the transverse and in the ascending colon.

Small bubbles are present also in the distal portion of the last ileal loop.

The foams are found in nature and are generally obtained by mechanical dispersion of the gas phase in a condensed phase.

The images are presented in "positive" to better see the foam bubbles of colic walls.
