Case Discussion

Fibromatosis is a benign fibrous tissue proliferation with infiltrative growth and a tendency for local recurrence without metastasis. DD of our case includes;  fibrous histiocytoma, giant cell tumor of the tendon sheath, hemangioma, neurogenic tumor, or soft tissue sarcoma. Histopathology after an excisional biopsy revealed fibromatosis, with benign behavior but may recur.
