Accidental injury to palm by lead pencil tip - 3 - 4 days. C/o local pain, swelling. USG to rule out or localize lead tip.

An echogenic linear tapering focus is noted in subcutaneous plane.
It is about 10 mm deep to skin.
Local hypervascularity is noted.
No abscess formation.
Case Discussion
Findings favor foreign body - pencil lead tip in palm.
