Forward angulation type III coccyx

Presentation

Pain at the coccygeal area.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Coccyx is sharply angulated forward.

Case Discussion

The intercoccygeal angle (​between the first and last segment of the coccyx) is increased and even may be obtuse. It means hypermobility and may explain coccydynia.
