Advanced SLAC wrist (scapholunate advanced collapse)
- widening of the scapholunate interval
- proximal migration of the capitate
- advanced degenerative changes in the wrist
- wrist instability on physical exam
Case Discussion
This patient originally presented with advanced right wrist arthritis, most likely secondary to chronic rupture of the scapholunate ligament (from SLAC wrist).
She chose a limited wrist fusion using a four-corner fusion, as opposed to a total wrist fusion.
