Fall. Painful wrist and finger

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

Mildly displaced fracture of the triquetrum along the radial border. Tiny undisplaced fracture of the ulnar styloid tip. Subtle undisplaced faint intra-articular fracture of the dorsal aspect of the base of the distal phalanx index finger.

Soft tisssue swellng of the wrist along the radial aspect.

Case Discussion

Atypical triquetrial fracture that is evident on the frontal and not the lateral projections.
