A 60×35 mm hetero enhancing mass is noted at the anatomical location of the gallbladder that invades adjacent liver parenchyma, causing multiple hetero enhancing liver masses.

In imaged portions of the lower neck, the left lobe of the thyroid gland is enlarged and extends retrosternal.

Case Discussion

Pathology proved gallbladder adenocarcinoma with liver involvement.

Gallbladder cancers (90% adenocarcinomas) are more prevalent in elderly women and are usually only symptomatic in advanced stages. The most common presentation on imaging is mass that replaces the gallbladder.
