Gastric mucinous adenocarcinoma

Presentation

Dysphagia and discomfort on swallowing.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Thickened gastric wall with diffuse areas of calcifications (prominent in fundus and greater curvature)

Case Discussion

Endoscopic biopsy was taken and it proved to be mucinous adenocarcinoma.

Calcified gastric carcinoma are rare and usually turn out to be Mucinous adenocarcinoma (as in this case).
