A 34 x 24 mm exophytic soft tissue mass arising from the lesser curvature of the stomach, extending to the lesser omentum.
The hepatic attenuation value is less than that of the spleen, suggesting fatty liver disease.
A 16 mm cortical cyst with focal peripheral coarse calcification is seen at the left kidney. A few subcentimeter simple cortical cysts also are present in both kidneys.
Case Discussion
Pathologically proven gastric GIST, which is the most common mesenchymal tumors of the gastrointestinal tract.
