Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Fall after seizure. CT showed a left temporal mass.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Post-contrast MR shows a necrotic mass in left temporal lobe. DTI was performed for preoperative planning. Please note the proximity of the mass to left optic radiation (green tract).

Case Discussion

Note: As histological proof and IDH mutation status have not been provided in this case and according to the current (2016) WHO classification of CNS tumors, this tumor would, therefore, be designated as a probable glioblastoma NOS
