Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
mri

Right fronto-temporo-parietal alteration of signal involving grey and white matter regions with mass effect seen as midline shift,  compression of right lateral ventricle and subfalcine herniation. It shows heterogeneous low signal on T1 and high signal on T2. Areas of diffusion restriction are noted. MR spectroscopy shows prominent Choline peak.

Case Discussion

Importantly, whereas gliomatosis was previously considered a distinct entity, since the 2016 update to the WHO classification of CNS tumors it is now merely thought of as a growth pattern.
