One day old neonate delivered by LSCS presented with macrocephaly.

Gender: Male
ultrasound

Neurosonogram reveals grossly dilated ventricular system with markedly thinned-out cerebral parenchyma.

Case Discussion

Linear array probe is useful for detection of thin rim of cerebral parenchyma to differentiate it from hydranencephaly.
