ICU supine x-ray shows a well defined radiopaque (metallic density) in the abdomen.
Surgical sutures are noted in the midline of abdomen and pelvis.
Drainage tube noted on the right side.
Vertical paravertebral line on right side is an artifact.
Case Discussion
It is a bullet with a rounded tip from a recent gun shot injury.
Strangely the surgeons weren’t able to remove it successfully.
