Haemophilic arthropathy of the knee

Advanced joint space narrowing and osteophytosis. The femoral condyles are bulbous with flattening of the articular surfaces. Generalized enlargement of the distal femoral and proximal tibial epiphyses. The intercondylar notch is widened.
Case Discussion
This patient was known to have hemophilia A and had recently had a total knee arthroplasty of the left knee.
The features of osteoarthritis are secondary to the chronic arthropathy caused by repeated haemarthroses.
