Hemorrhagic brain metastases

Presentation

Patient with known kidney malignancy. Rule out metastases.

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

ct

CT-scan shows multiple cortical-subcortical hypodensities in both hemispheres. In the opercular frontal and parietal region, some of these hypodensities contain hyperdense foci, compatible with hemorrhage. The patient was known for renal cell carcinoma and this is a typical example of hemorrhagic metastases.
