Patient Data

Age: 60-65 years
Gender: Female

Distal interphalangeal joint osteoarthritis of fingers 2-5 bilaterally. No erosions. 

Case Discussion

The ballcatchers view is used for the assessment of erosive arthropathy as it rotates the MCP joints slightly, uncovering any potential juxta-articular erosions.
