A homogeneous hyperechoic lesion is seen with well-defined borders and normal surrounding hepatic parenchyma, typical of hepatic hemangioma.
Case Discussion
A hepatic hemangioma is a relatively benign hypervascular liver lesion. It is the most common benign tumor of the liver. It is frequently diagnosed as an incidental finding on imaging and most patients are asymptomatic. A peripheral location within the liver is most common.
