Hypoechoic well-defined liver lesion in a subcapsular location in segment III. There is internal vascularity on color Doppler.
After the injection of IV contrast (Definity - perflutren lipid microsphere) the lesion demonstrated typical centripetal contrast filling and no washout.
Case Discussion
The liver lesion is hypoechoic on the B-mode US images but has typical contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) appearances of hemangioma.
