A faintly opaque but large round lesion at the hepatic area.

The CT scan shows nicely the calcified hydatid cyst and the membranes of the daughter cyst inside of it. Appearances are those of a calcified hydatid cyst.

The CT scan shows nicely the calcified hydatid cyst and the membranes of the daughter cyst inside of it.
Another calcified cyst is also seen in segment V.
No follow up for such cysts is needed as they are inactive.
