Abdominal pain.

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

A 100×75×90 mm multiseptated thick-walled cystic lesion with incomplete coarse peripheral calcification is noted at liver.

Case Discussion

Features on CT scan are typical for hepatic hydatid cyst.

Hydatid cyst occurs secondary to the infection by the Echinococcus species. It is most commonly seen involving the liver followed by lungs and spleen.
