A 75×65 mm cystic lesion with internal layer detachment is present at liver compatible with hydatid cyst. Daughter cysts of varying sizes are observed predominantly in the periphery of the giant mother cyst.
Case Discussion
Hydatid cyst occurs secondary to infection by Echinococcus spp. It is most commonly seen involving the liver, followed by lungs and spleen.
