Lytic lesion within the medial humeral metaphysis, with associated cortical destruction and inferiorly a wide zone of transition. No further lesions evident. No lung nodule or mass. Features could be due to a metastasis, myeloma, or lymphoma.
Case Discussion
A subsequent CT showed a lung mass and this lesion was deemed to be a lytic lung cancer metastasis. Bone metastasis can be described as lytic/ lucent, sclerotic, or mixed.
