Presentation

Longstanding headache, vertigo, hirsutism and obesity in a young woman.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

Thickening of calvarium is noted anteriorly involving the frontal bone. Well appreciated on the lateral skull radiograph.

 Bilateral thickening of the inner table of the frontal bone of the skull.

Asymmetric thickening of the frontal bone of the skull.

Case Discussion

Thickening of the frontal bone of the skull also known as hyperostosis frontalis interna, hirsutism and obesity are the signs and symptoms of the Morgagni syndrome.
