Presentation

Recent onset of dyspnea and chest tightness.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Numerous poorly defined small (less than 5 mm) alveolar opacities, and multiple centrilobular ground-glass nodules scattered throughout both lungs associated with bilateral basal ground glass opacities.

Case Discussion

The patient reports a recent exposure to pigeons and the CT chest demonstrates the typical appearance of acute hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
