Hypraemia in diabetic foot

The DPA and distal PTA show increased peak systolic and end diastolic flow velocities with decreased resistance. The rest of the lower limb arterial tree show more or less triphasic flow with slightly increased diastolic flow and normal to slightly increased flow velocities.
Case Discussion
These changes in a patient with diabetic foot are compatible with hyperemia due to distal infection.
