Presentation

The patient came with left-sided medial eye deviation, redness and pain.

Patient Data

Age: 30 Years
Gender: Female

Medial deviation of the left eye globe with hypertrophy and edema seen in the left lateral rectus muscle with no surrounding edematous changes.

Case Discussion

Orbital pseudotumor also has known as Idiopathic Orbital Inflammatory Syndrome (IOIS) is a benign, noninfective inflammatory condition of the orbit without identifiable local or systemic causes. The clinical diagnosis is one of exclusion with evaluation directed to exclude neoplasms, infections, and systemic disorders.1-2
