Case Discussion

Iliotibial band syndrome is a condition that is resulted from repetitive bending of the knee during physical exercise such as running or cycling (our patient is a football player).

The case is managed by rest, application of ice and anti-inflammatory medications. Electrotherapy and ultrasound may be also used to treat the condition.
