Indirect inguinal hernia

Right inguinal swelling and pain in abdomen since 12 hrs.

Patient Data

Age: 3
Gender: Male

Right inguinal hernia was noted containing small bowel loop, with hernia sac lateral to inferior epigastric artery. Neck of the sac measures ~7 mm. Vascularity was preserved, and no significant proximal bowel dilatation seen.

Case Discussion

Surgery after 2 hrs. Findings confirmed indirect inguinal hernia.
