Incidental finding on an MRI to stage prostate carcinoma: herniation of the urinary bladder into the right inguinal canal and the right scrotal sac.
The prostate carcinoma could not be demonstrated with certainty, but may be the slightly T2-hypo-intense area on dorsally in the peripheral zone on the left. There was no breach of the prostatic capsule and no invasion of the seminal vesicles.
Case Discussion
Inguinal bladder herniation is an uncommon finding. In this patient it was not accompanied by clinical symptoms.
