Insulinoma - MEN type 1

MR images demonstrate a well defined ovoid mass in the pancreatic neck which is of low T1 and high T2 signal. It enhances on the post contrast images such that the lesion is not identifiable.
Imaging appearance and clinical setting are consistent with insulinoma.
Case Discussion
The patient's mother was known to have multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN I) and the genetic mutation was also subsequently confirmed in her daughter.
