Acute loss of consciousness.

Gender: Female

NECT shows hyperdense internal veins and bilateral (R > L) thalami hypodensities, compatible with dural vein thrombosis and venous infarction.

Contrast enhanced CT hardly shows thrombi within the cerebral veins, because they are already very hyperdense on NECT.
