Presentation

Respiratory left thoracic pain, fever, leukocytosis.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

Soft-tissue lesion in the left lower thorax with irregular borders to the aerated lung tissue, and punctate calcifications. Arterial supply arising directly from the descending aorta. Venous drainage into the dorsal inferior lung vein. Pleural effusion and para-aortic lymphadenopathy.

Case Discussion

After antibiotic treatment, the effusion and lymphadenopthy resolved completely.
