Intralobar pulmonary sequestration

Presentation

CT to rule out COVID-19 pneumonia.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

There is a right lower lung air-trapping of posterobasal location (as it has no connection with the bronchial tree). It has a systemic arterial supply taking origin from the descending thoracic aorta above the diaphragm. The venous drainage is via the pulmonary venous system.
