Heel pain during application of pressure.

Age: 60 Years
Gender: Female
x-ray

A well-defined osteolytic lesion with a central calcification within the calcaneum, comprising the 'cockade sign'; highly suggestive of intraosseous lipoma.

Case Discussion

Intraosseous lipomas are rare benign bone tumors and the calcaneum is the commonest bone in which it occurs.
