Presentation
Headache since 2 months .
Patient Data
A well-defined lobulated intraventricular mass is noted in the atrium of left lateral ventricle which is isointense to grey matter on T1 and T2 weighted images. Intense homogeneous postcontrast enhancement is noted. Restriction noted on diffusion sequences. No evidence of extraventricular extension or hydrocephalus.
Case Discussion
Intraventricular meningioma represents around 1% of all meningiomas. It is commonly located in the atrium of lateral ventricle followed by the 3rd ventricle. It arises from the infolding of meningeal tissue during the formation of choroid plexus. It is the most common trigonal intraventricular mass in adulthood.
