A soccer player with a history of a previous ankle injury.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

An abnormal T2/PD fs hyperintense cleft extending longitudinally in extensor digitorum longus tendon and Myo-tendinous junction.

Case Discussion

Ankle extensor tendon tears especially extensor digitorum longus are not common, unlike the other ankle tendon pathology and the exact incidence is uncertain.
