Horizontal undisplaced transverse cortical break involving the proximal metadiaphyseal junction of the 5th metatarsal.
Case Discussion
It is important to understand the zonal division of fractures of proximal fifth metatarsal. The meta-diaphyseal fracture (Jones) is prone for non-union as the vascular supply is most affected at this site.
