There is a nondisplaced transverse fracture in the proximal metadiaphysis of the right fifth metatarsal consistent with a Jones fracture.
There is mild swelling of the adjacent soft tissue. Vascular calcifications are seen.
There is a small plantar calcaneal spur noted. No focal blastic or lytic areas are seen.
The visualized joint spaces are normal in width and appearance without dislocation.
Case Discussion
This transverse fracture of the base of the 5th metatarsal bone is consistent with Jones fracture.
