  • displaced and rotated posterosuperior fragment impacting into the conus
  • disruption of both articular processes.

Severe flexion distration fracture dislocation.

  • burst L1
  • displaced and rotated posterosuperior fragment impacting into the conus
  • disruption of all major ligaments
    • ALL
    • PLL
    • ligamentum flavae
    • interspinous ligaments
    • supraspinous ligament
  • disruption of both articular processes.
